OUR STORY

Off the Grid Tiny House eco friendly accommodation in the Tumut Valley Mountains, only 12 minutes from the picturesque town of Tumut. Robyne's River Retreat is perfectly placed right at the foothills of the majestic Mount Mundongo and at the edge of the gentle flowing Goobragandra River, both of which are a part of a working sheep and cattle farm.

'Robynes River Retreat' began as a camping spot by the river for family and friends .Our dream to diversify our family farm land and share this amazing part of our property with guests was the obvious option.
A tiny house which would leave a minimal carbon footprint on our land was the criteria needed to enjoy the natural surroundings.

Robyne's River Retreat has 2 loft bedrooms to sleep up to 4. A modern accommodation set right beside the River on your own piece of private acreage. It includes a spacious bathroom with modern fixtures and  a compositing toilet in keeping with the eco friendly design.

The kitchen is fully equipped with full size oven and fridge, the outdoor area has a spacious deck where the sound of the river flowing adds to the relaxing ambiance naturally created for guests. The deck also includes an outdoor bath to soak in while watching the River flow by.

An outdoor fire pit on the edge of the river is the perfect space to enjoy a beverage while telling a yarn under the stars with friends. Robyne's River Retreat is perfect for couples to unwind and switch off from the world for a while.

Come and explore everything Tumut and the surrounding areas have to offer like fishing and swimming from your front door, Bush walking, mountain bike riding, water skiing, kayaking, the snow fields, beautiful local fresh produce and much more.
